May 14, 2011. For nearly two years there was very little DIRECT communication between Rihanna and Chris Brown - until yesterday.

Yesterday afternoon, Rihanna decided to FOLLOW Chri Brown viz Twitter. Shortly after that Chris followed Rihanna.

Then, according to a MediaTakeOut.com ROCK SOLID SNITCH - they sent approximately A DOZEN private direct messages to each other. No word yet on what they said.

Could there be a reunion in store???

Brown appeared in court moments ago in downtown L.A., where a judge replaced Rihanna's restraining order with a level one order -- meaning Chris and Rihanna can have contact as long as he does not harass, annoy, or molest her.

Rihanna was not in court -- but her attorney Donald Etra was ... and told the judge RiRi has no objection to the new order.

LMAOOOOOO!!! CHRIS BROWN'S CREDIT CARD GETS DECLINED!! (DUDE IS OFFICIALLY BROKE)

I work at levi's in richmond va (where Chris resides). He came in and only looked at the sale section then left. Previously he came in and his card got declined! Embarrassing! "my black card, you can't decline that!" <-- yea right

He always come to short pump mall looking for attention from girls. If he doesn't get attention from employees or fans he gets noticeably upset. We at Levi's have a joke where we ignore him just to piss him off.

Rihanna Wants Closer Contact with Chris Brown

Rihanna wants Chris Brown to be able to get close to her again without risking getting thrown in jail -- a major shift in their relationship two years after Brown's conviction for beating her.


E! first reported Rihanna was interested in changing the restraining order. Her attorney, Donald Etra, tells TMZ, "Rihanna does not object" to reducing the order to a "do not annoy" -- meaning the exes could have contact as long as Chris doesn't harass or molest Rihanna.

Chris initially asked for the reduction ... but the court needed to know how Rihanna felt before ruling.

The order has not been changed yet -- so there won't be a Grammy night reunion this weekend -- but Rihanna's change of heart hints there could be one in the near future.



So we gotta ask ...
