STEVEN TYLER Slams 'Celebrity Rehab', Says STEVEN ADLER Was Asked To Fake His Drug Stupor

AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler has slammed the VH1 reality series "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew" and its host, addiction-medicine specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky, who formerly worked at one of the hospitals where Tyler sought treatment.

In his new book, "Does The Noise In My Head Bother You?", Tyler claims that former GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler, a patient at Las Encinas (where "Celebrity Rehab" was filmed), was asked to fake his behavior for the benefit of the cameras.

"They wanted him to act out his own messed-up state when he entered rehab. It was ghoulish and unreal. They gave him 30 grand for the episode, he snorted it all, crashed his car, and he ended up in jail detox," Tyler wrote.

Afghan officials say Pakistan should have known bin Laden was there

By Hamid Shalizi

KABUL, May 4 (Reuters) - Pakistan's spy agency should have known Osama bin Laden was hiding not far from its capital, Afghan officials said on Wednesday, the first direct comments from Kabul about its neighbour's apparent inability to track the al Qaeda leader.

The case also raised questions about Pakistan's ability to protect its nuclear weapons adequately, said Afghan Defence Ministry spokesman Zaher Azimy.

Bin Laden, the architect of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States, was killed by a U.S. strike team in a military garrison town about 60 km (35 miles) north of Islamabad on Monday.

U.S. says Osama bin Laden unarmed when shot dead

* Bin Laden "resisted", but not armed - White House

* U.S. debating whether to release photograph of body

* Pakistani newspaper decries "national embarrassment"

* U.S. vows to find out if Pakistan sheltered bin Laden (Adds Gilani quotes, Al Arabiya TV report)

By Kamran Haider and Matt Spetalnick

ABBOTTABAD/WASHINGTON, May 4 (Reuters) - Osama bin Laden was unarmed when U.S. special forces shot and killed him, the White House said, as it tried to establish whether its ally Pakistan had helped the al Qaeda leader elude a worldwide manhunt.

Pakistan faced national embarrassment, a leading Islamabad newspaper said, in how to explain that the world's most-wanted man was able to live for years in the military garrison town of Abbottabad, just north of the capital.

Islamabad vehemently denies it gave shelter to bin Laden.

"There is an intelligence failure of the whole world, not just Pakistan alone," Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani told reporters in Paris. "(If there are) ... lapses from the Pakistan side, that means there are lapses from the whole world."

The revelation that bin Laden was unarmed contradicted an earlier U.S. account that he had participated in a firefight with the helicopter-borne American commandos.

RHIANNA SET TO DROP ROC-NATION AS HER MANAGEMENT

MediaTakeOut.com just got wind of a BLOCKBUSTER REPORT . . . there's some SERIOUS DRAMA between Rihnana andJay Z - regarding his management of her.

MediaTakeout.com spoke with a VERY WELL PLACED insider in Rihanna's camp who told us ALL the juicy details. According to our snitch, Rihanna is concerned about a number of things. First, now that Jay's RocNation company will be managing Beyonce - Rihanna's CHIEF RIVAL for endorsement deals, etc, Rihanna's people fear that there may be a CONFLICT OF INTEREST for Jay to manage his wifey and Rih. For example, if a BIG DEAL is available - will they push RIHANNA for it . . . or BEYONCE (take a WILD guess).

Second - people close to Rihanna are alleging that some FINANCIAL IRREGULARITIES have shown up in Rihanna's relationship with her managers at RocNation. Like, it turns out that Rihanna bought her house from Jigga's partner Jay Brown's sister (who made a HEALTHY FEE on the sale). And that almost ALL of the producers that Rihanna PAID FEES out of her album budget were managed by RocNation (who got a piece of THEIR FEES). And finally, people close to Rih are PUZZLED with Jay Z's choice of having RocNation artist J Cole open for Rihanna. Given her trouble selling tickets it seems ODD to place an artist with VIRTUALLY NO HITS as the opener. But . . . RocNation is getting PLENTY OF FEES out of J Cole.

The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "It seems like [Jay Z's] RocNation is making sure that they have MULTIPLE paychecks coming out of Rihanna, and they're using her to promote their artists. It doesn't seem fair."

So when are we expected to hear an announcement from Rih. The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "soon."

Ladies and gents the ISH will hit the fan SHORTLY. And when the mainstream press REPORT ON THIS . . . remember you read it first on MediaTakeOut.com . . . the most VISITED URBAN WEBSITE ON THE PLANET!!!
